As Senior Advisor, Clinical Strategy & Care Delivery at The CareWorks Project, Jay Mesrobian, MD, MBA brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of clinical practice and healthcare operations. He advises on care delivery models, clinical workforce strategy, and the integration of quality, efficiency, and patient-centered care across health systems.

Jay is a board-certified anesthesiologist and physician executive with a strong track record of leading large, complex clinical organizations. He most recently served as Chief Clinical Officer and National Medical Director of Anesthesiology at TeamHealth, where he led more than 1,500 providers across 23 states. His work has spanned community and academic settings, national specialty societies, and payer contracting committees—giving him a comprehensive view of how care is delivered, financed, and improved at scale.

He is a Fellow of both the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American College of Healthcare Executives, and he is known for bringing a dual lens to problem-solving as both a practicing physician and an MBA-trained strategist. His leadership focuses on aligning clinical excellence with operational performance in ways that support both providers and patients.

Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Princeton University, a Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University, and a Physician Executive MBA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
